Mosaics, Mosaics everywhere today at the Cabin!!! There were three popular workshops to make your own mosaic taught by Diane Flanegan and hubby, Rich. Everyone loved it, even the two white tailed window peepers looking in as they strolled around the Village.

On this cold Monday morning, veteran rechinking expert Matt Youngerman begins the process for our historic cabin. Spraying the logs for insects and carpenter bees is the first step before replacing logs and the chinking process. Electricians have installed our new electrical box and HVAC energy efficient systems in place as well. Come on SPRING...we're getting ready for you.

It is with great joy to announce the cabin Nov. 2018 pottery raffle winner.

Winner:Jessica Nissen from Pinehurst. Jessica is employee at Sandhills Children's Ctr.

This pottery tea set was made especially for the Sandhills Women's Exchange, hand-thrown in Pinehurst by local artisan William Schran.

The clay used was produced by StarWorks in Star, NC. William Schran has worked as a potter for over 50 years and recognized as a premier artisan awarded Professor Emeritus status. His work is exhibited both regionally and internationally and in museum collections, as well as private homes.
