Delightful Surprise

What a delightful surprise! The Cabin --the show-rooms newly remodeled and sparkling, a masterful cook, outstanding food served by some of the Villages most gracious ladies (all volunteers.) And a collection of really interesting and appealing products. We got introduced yesterday. A daughter visiting from California. We stopped at the Cabin for lunch. Hadn’t been there since last fall. Was amazed at the transformation. The show-room area had been enlarged, re-fitted, and made into a space with the look and feel of a cheerful little boutique -- all the more surprising to be found inside a historic cabin. The lunch room can’t be any larger than it used to be, but it somehow feels that way and is bright and comfortable. My daughter, who knows about this stuff, thought the leek soup and the artichoke-and-asparagus crepe were, direct quote,“fantastic.” I have no idea how you managed all this, ladies, but it was great. Hope you have a super year. You should. The Cabin is a little jewel right in the heart of the Village.
